Eurex reports equity derivatives market calming down but single stock levels still uncertain in Q2 2020

Eurex Exchange announced its trading volumes for the second quarter of 2020. After the extreme market volatility observed in the first quarter, the exchange reported that the equity derivatives market slowly calmed down following several monetary and fiscal measures by national banks and governments.

The overall market managed to make a recovery in the second quarter, however single stock levels are still driven by uncertainty on earnings, dividends and local shutdowns.
