Cboe sets trading records with February volumes

Cboe reported their February 2020 volumes, making great raises compared to February the previous year. Options ADV are up with 64%, Futures by 88%, U.S. Equities by 30% and Global FX by 20% YoY.

Cboe’s four options exchanges together set a new monthly ADV record with more than 11 million contracts traded in February. A new single day volume record was set by S&P 500 Index (SPX) options with 3.6 million contracts traded on 28 February. The company’s four U.S. equities exchanges combined set a new single-day volume record with nearly 3.5 billion shares traded on 28 February.
