MetaQuotes Software, the developer of the popular MetaTrader 4 (MT4) and MetaTrader 5 (MT5) platforms, keeps courting the users of the MT4 and MT5 mobile applications.
On Tuesday, a new version (4.0.947) of the MT4 application for iOS devices was released, with the enhancements in the latest update focusing on enhancing security.
Now, users of the solution can set a PIN code to access the application. This will provide additional protection for their accounts even if they lose their mobile device. To set a PIN code, one has to enable “Lock Screen” in the application settings. By default, the PIN code is similar to the one used to access the one-time password generator.
Also, the new version features multiple improvements and fixes.
Earlier this year, the application became available in Korean, on top of English, Arabic, Czech, French, German, Greek, Hindi, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Malay, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Spanish, Thai, Traditional Chinese, Turkish, Ukrainian, Vietnamese.
