New HKEX Group website launches

Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX) released a revamped version of its Group website on the weekend featuring a suite of new features designed to improve functionality and make information easier to find.

The new HKEX Group website has been completely rebuilt from the ground up, with all new infrastructure and content management system, to bring it in-line with HKEX’s new corporate branding and streamline the updating process. It also contains several other new features, including:

  • Mega menu, giving users access to deep levels of information without clicking through multiple pages
  • Responsive design, ensuring the website functions well on a variety of screen sizes including tablets and mobile phones
  • Multimedia capabilities, including streaming videos and photo albums 

“The new HKEX Group website is a service enhancement and is representative of HKEX Group as forward-thinking operator of exchanges and clearing houses around the world,” said HKEX Chief Executive Charles Li. “It is a comprehensive portal for our high-level corporate information, and can be accessed conveniently on any device.”

Among the highlights of the new website is the About HKEX page, which is a graphical representation of the company’s business, as well as the Company Milestones page which lists some of the key moments in the Group’s history. It also has improved charts in the Investor Relations section, a revamped Careers area, and a revamped section dedicated to journalists that contains important information and photo albums of key corporate events.

HKEX has adopted the Group website as its designated company website for publication of HKEX’s announcements, notices and other corporate communications with immediate effect. It is also home to all of HKEX’s corporate information, including the company’s background and history, investor relations, corporate governance and corporate social responsibility.

Next year, HKEX will launch its new market website, which will provide detailed information on HKEX’s Hong Kong market.
