BNP Paribas Easy launches six new smart beta ETFs on Xetra

Six new equity index funds issued by BNP Paribas Easy SICAV have been tradable via Xetra since Tuesday, Deutsche Börse just announced.

The six new BNP Paribas Easy ETFs enable investors to participate in the performance of stock corporations domiciled in Europe or the US which are selected based on one of the following criteria: low volatility, quality, momentum or value. Selected stock corporations are also listed on a domestic exchange.

  • The reference index of the BNP Paribas Easy Equity Low Vol US UCITS ETF tracks a basket of US stocks with historically low volatility. The fund offers a unit class in US dollars as well as one in euros.
  • The reference index of the BNP Paribas Easy Equity Momentum Europe UCITS ETF Distribution tracks European companies with high momentum in the previous year that is expected to continue.
  • The reference index of the BNP Paribas Easy Equity Value Europe UCITS ETF Distribution tracks European companies deemed undervalued based on fundamental analysis.
  • The reference index of the BNP Paribas Easy Equity Low Vol Europe UCITS ETF Distribution tracks European companies with historically low volatility.
  • The reference index of the BNP Paribas Easy Equity Quality Europe UCITS ETF Distribution tracks European companies with excellent balance sheets as measured by four criteria: return on equity, cash flow to total assets, gross earnings to book value and provisions.

The product offering in Deutsche Börse’s XTF segment currently comprises a total of 1,140 exchange traded funds. This selection, together with an average monthly trading volume of around €15 billion, makes Xetra Europe’s leading trading venue for ETFs.
