Binary options broker LionsTradeFX gets warning from Canadian regulator BCSC

BCSC warning

Continuing its string of warnings against unregulated brokers and other scams targeting retail traders in Canada, Canadian securities regulator the British Columbia Securities Commission (BCSC) has added to its Investment Caution List unregulated offshore Binary Options broker LionsTradeFX, operating from website lionstradefx.com.

On its website, LionsTradeFX calls itself “today’s leading digital options trading platform”. However a quick check of online resources reveals that the company’s url lionstradefx.com was only created in February 2017. And, that the company’s website gets very little traffic.

The regulator became aware of LionsTradeFX, and that the company made at least one unsolicited offer to a Canadian resident to invest with Lionstradefx.com.

LionsTradeFX is not registered to trade in, or advise on, securities or exchange contracts in BC or elsewhere in Canada. BCSC urged BC residents to exercise caution when dealing with firms that are not registered to trade or advise in BC.
