MONEX emphasizes value of customer engagement by launching new department

Japanese FX conglomerate MONEX Inc creates Service Operations Department and appoints Tomoyuki Ishibashi to lead position

Japanese FX giant MONEX Group has today announced that its subsidiary MONEX Inc has made two changes within its senior personnel, as well as establishing a new division within the firm.

For the purpose of maintenance and management of the operating environment in which the company aims to provide the stable and high-quality services, a new division, under the designation of the Service Operations Department will be established effective April 1, 2014.

Tomoyuki Ishibashi, who currently holds the position of Manager of the firm’s System Department will assume the post of General Manager of the newly created Service Operations Department, whereas Motoki Kitamura has been promoted from Manager of the Operations Department to General Manager of the Operations Department

MONEX had established two new departments in October last year as part of an organizational restructure which focused on refining its sales departments. At that time, the former Sales Planning Department was decommissioned, and replaced by the Sales Division which was established in order to concentrate on the increasingly varying styles of MONEX’s customer base.

Bearing the differing requirements of customers in mind, MONEX created the Product Services Department, the Active Trader Department and the Investment Services Department which are sub-divisions of the Sales department.
