The Financial Markets Authority (FMA) has just issued a warning against a scam company called Sanderson Consultants.

Reason for warning:
- The FMA has received a report from a New Zealand resident about Sanderson Consulting cold calling customers, conducting unauthorised trades and withholding client funds.
- It is not a registered financial service provider in New Zealand
- It has the characteristics of a scam
- The Financial Supervisory Service (FSS) in Korea has included Sanderson Consultants on their list of entities that are suspected of engaging in investment scams and fraud with internet websites containing fake addresses and phone numbers in Korea, which can be accessed here
