Press Release – TraderTools Inc. (TraderTools), provider of the world’s most advanced FX trading platform, announced today that it has appointed Darren Smith to head its regional office in Johannesburg, South Africa. The office was established to support the growing number of customers in the region.
Darren Smith, Africa Sales Director at TraderTools, has held management positions in South African financial institutions since 2010. Before joining TraderTools, Mr. Smith was SAP Program Manager at Standard Bank, where he was responsible for implementing the entire SAP Core Banking Suite including SAP Advanced Analytics and CRM. Prior to that, Mr. Smith was Chief Operating Officer of Renaissance Capital’s Africa Equities Investment Bank, where he was involved in all aspects of the equities business including Derivatives, Fixed Income and FX Trading. He is a licensed member of the Financial Services Board of South Africa.
