Well here’s a brief snapshot of the most popular search terms on LeapRate during 2014. Note that this is NOT a list of popular Google / Yahoo / Yandex / Baidu searches which brought readers to us. That information we guard jealously. But in the name of increased transparency, we’re happy to share with our readers what other readers were actively searching for while on our site during the year.
Note that in our earlier post today we outlined the most popular articles seen at LeapRate during the year 2014.
Some lessons learned:
- it pays to be a public company if you want to be searched for – we had well above average searches for terms and phrases involving publicly traded companies
- Russia and binary options related terms are on the rise
- Bitcoin related searches were very hot early in the year, not so much since September
