Shortly after the launch of the Moving Average trend indicator in test mode in MetaTrader 4 Web, MetaQuotes Software is beefing up the lineup of technical analysis tools available to users of the browser-based platform.
The company has recently announced the upcoming implementation of the MACD oscillator in order to demonstrate the indicator operation on a separate window. Eventually, the team has decided to speed up the process and to add a few different indicators in test mode:
- Envelopes oscillator using two Moving Averages to form an envelope on a chart;
- Popular Bollinger Bands trend following indicator consisting of three Moving Averages and assessing the market volatility;
- Momentum indicator showing price change rate;
- Moving Average Convergence/Divergence (MACD).
Traders can configure the indicators by setting the necessary analytical parameters, including calculation period and shift relative to a price chart. Visual settings such as line color, width, and type, are set to be added soon.
The remaining indicators will appear in the Web platform after thorough testing.
