John Jackson resigns from CMC Markets board of directors

After 10 years as non-executive director of British FX, CFD and spread betting company CMC Markets, John Jackson has tendered his resignation, as reported by a filing with Companies House, the government agency which holds company records relating to every incorporated entity in Britain.

Mr. Jackson joined the board of CMC Markets in 2005 on in a non-executive capacity, congruent to his main business interest, Astre Associates, a professional services company which provides consultancy for corporate mergers, as well as planning and coaching, which he founded in 2001.

Mr. Jackson continues to hold a non-executive directorship of The Consulting Consortium, a position which he has held since January this year, this remaining his sole interest on a non-executive basis, having left the board of corporate pensions consulting company Lorica Consulting in 2014 when the company was purchased by AON.

Previously, Mr. Jackson had, congruent to his main business interest and non executive directorships of Lorica and CMC Markets, held the position of non-executive chairman of track and tracing product manufacturer Polyhedra Group.
