Montréal Exchange launches trading on London time

Montréal Exchange just shared the appointment of Julie Rochette as Vice President and Chief Regulatory Officer of the Regulatory Division of the Montréal Exchange, effective January 16th.

Rochette assumes this role following the recent appointment of Brian Gelfand to the role of Chief Commercial Officer for CDS and CDCC.

Julie Rochette will lead the Regulatory Division of the Exchange, which ensures compliance with the Rules of the Exchange through market surveillance, investigations, and trade desk examinations. In addition, the Division develops regulatory proposals and manages the approval and registration of approved participants and authorized persons.

Rochette joined the Montréal Exchange in 2015 as Director, Enforcement and Legal Counsel in the Regulatory Division. She has over 20 years of experience in legal and compliance roles and was instrumental in the overall implementation of the Regulatory Division strategic plan.
