EGX Chairman demands regulations for practicing the profession

During his participation in honoring the graduates of ESTA, the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) Chairman demands a way of Communication between ESTA and the regulatory authorities to establish regulations for career practicing.

EGX Chairman, Dr. Mohammed Omran participated in the graduation of CETA graduates for technical analysts provided by ESTA and accredited by the International Federation of Technical Analysts (IFTA) by granting the graduates a Certified Financial Technician (CFT) certificate.

During his speech to the graduates, He asked ESTA to communicate with regulatory authorities to establish rules and regulations for career practicing compared to other technical careers recorded by the Egyptian Financial Supervisory Authority. Dr. Omran also added that this organization will protect the different market’s parties like issuing companies and traders, which will reflect positively on the efficient market performance.

ESTA provides an educational program that contains more than 360 hours of intensive explanation, taught by a number of Egyptian and foreign trainers through three levels, obtained in a minimum of three years, during which the student must obtain a success rate of not less than 70% at each level.

The CETA certification is accredited and recognized by the International Association of Technical Analysts (IFTA) and therefore, is also certified from the International Federation of Certified Financial Technicians (CFTE).

From his part, Ahmed Shehata, President of ESTA said that the ESTA is one of the largest international associations in the same field, as the average number of its members exceeded 400 members annually during the last 12 years, and the number of students in the provided primary educational program is over 200 students annually
