LeapRate learned today that financial industry veteran Mr. Samuel John Ruiz has been officially terminated from his position as Non Executive Director of Forex brokerage ADS Securities London.
Mr. Ruiz served on the board from February 2015 to September 2016. According to his Linkedin profile Mr. Ruiz has a new important gig taking up most of his time these days as CEO of Institutional Services of interdealer broker Tullett Prebon, which he started at earlier this month.
His career spans over 30 years and includes experience in Equities, and a strong background in Risk, Trading, Technology, Governance and Regulation.
ADS is a London-based brokerage and ECN, providing multi-market forex, precious metals, CFD and spread trading for both retail and institutional clients. It started operations in November 2014, serving investors and institutions based in the UK, Europe and North America.
ADS Securities London is a wholly owned subsidiary of Central Bank of the UAE regulated Abu Dhabi based ADS Holding LLC.
The ADS London office has 30 employees and globally ADS Securities, including its SFC regulated office in Hong Kong, employs close to 200 people.
