New Zealand’s Financial Markets Authority (FMA) has earlier today updated its list of unregistered businesses, adding one more FX company to it.
The latest addition to the list is Hangsiu Group Limited, operating via www.hangsiugroup.com. The company offers a variety of FX services, including trading on MT4.
The FMA is concerned that the website of Hangsiu Group Limited claims the company is authorised and regulated by the FMA and can guarantee security of customers funds. The regulator notes that Hangsiu Group Limited was deregistered from the Financial Service Providers Register on April 9, 2016 and the company is not registered to provide financial services in New Zealand.
The latest warning is issued after in March this year, the New Zealand regulator published a similar warning against Suisse Limited, operating as ECN Markets. Hangsiu Group Limited is the sixth entity that the FMA has included in its “Unregistered businesses” list since the start of 2016.
