MetaQuotes Software, the developer of the famous MetaTrader 4 (MT4) and MetaTrader 5 (MT5) platforms, has taken the hedging capabilities recently introduced to MT5Â to another level.
The company has just released build 1261 of MetaTrader 5 application for iOS, with the new version of the app featuring hedging. This means that traders can open opposite directed positions on a single currency pair.
Traders can create a hedge account to access the position accounting system that is well known from MetaTrader 4.
Hedging is currently available only for opening demo accounts on the MetaQuotes-Demo server. Brokers will be able to support hedging in MetaTrader 5 in the near future.
