Longtime FXDD executive Lubomir ‘Lubo’ Kaneti moves to Cantor Exchange

Cantor Exchange announced that Lubomir Kaneti has joined Cantor Futures Exchange as a Senior Managing Director, charged with business development, marketing and customer acquisition. Mr. Kaneti will be based in New York and will report to Richard Jaycobs, President, Cantor Exchange.

Mr. Kaneti comes to Cantor Exchange from FXDD, a retail foreign exchange broker, where he served most recently as Chief Operating Officer. He brings approximately 12 years of experience in sales & trading, specifically focusing on FX and Swap Contracts.

Cantor Exchange is authorized by the CFTC as a Designated Contract Market. It offers digital options contracts on currencies and precious metals. In 2016, Cantor Exchange launched Named Storm Landing Contracts in a joint effort with AccuWeather. These contracts allow investors to purchase financial protection if they anticipate that a storm will make landfall at a particular location along the eastern seaboard of the United States. The Cantor Exchange intends to launch other weather related contracts in the near future.
