Japan’s Financial Services Agency (FSA) has earlier today updated its lists of unauthorized investment businesses targeting Japanese investors.
Amid the new additions is GBinarys, a binary options brand of Binext Global Ltd, operating from https://gbinarys.com.
Although the company provides an address in Marshall Islands, that is, it is registered overseas, the Japanese laws require derivatives services providers to get authorized in Japan in case they target Japanese investors. As GBinarys has a website in Japanese, it is required to obtain the necessary authorization from Japanese regulators. It made it to the warning list because it does not have such permission.
The latest warning is issued just a couple of weeks after the FSA alerted the public regarding Sun Ford Biz, a binary options broker operating as SSTrade. Alike GBinarys, Sun Ford Biz was slammed for not being authorized in Japan but targeting Japanese investors.
