GMO Click Holdings Inc (TYO:7177) plans to set up new unit GMO-Z com Trade Limited in Thailand in December.
GMO Click shared that it strives to develop the internet financial-related businesses close to the home of the customer. Further, in order to sustainable growth, the company has been promoting business development overseas, this time in Thailand.
The company plans to use the Z.com brand in Thailand, as it migrates all its retail brands to Z.com.
GMO Click’s last major expansion outside Japan was to the UK.
The effect of this matter on the company’s consolidated results is expected to be minor.
