HTC’s blockchain phone Exodus 1 to support Bitcoin Cash

æternity releases a live version of its blockchain platform

HTC is making great steps in disrupting the mobile/crypto space with its blockchain mobile phone Exodus 1. The blockchain device will now support Bitcoin Cash. The news came today, after HTC confirmed that the new function will also incorporate the standard wallet of Bitcoin.com. According to press, the Exodus 1 will be sold on the Bitcoin.com website as part of the partnership.

The Chief Decentralization Officer of HTC, Mr. Phil Chen, commented that the new update was expected at this point in time. Bitcoin Cash is an important digital asset to be supported, especially considering that BCH acts as an alternative to Bitcoin in the field of payments.

Zion Vault was the previous company that secured the key management on Exodus I. The company will now have the opportunity to secure Bitcoin Cash as well, in addition to ETH and BTC. These two were the only tokens accepted before the launch of Bitcoin Cash.

Because of the Zion Vault partnership, users of the Exodus I will be able to make direct swaps on their Zion Vault wallets and their phone ones. The entire process provides low-cost and quick token transferring tool from one phone to another one.

HTC is currently selling Exodus I for around $700. HTC is also planning launch of new blockchain-based mobile phones that it will launch in the future. The interesting part is that these new phones are expected to be cheaper than the current ones. The new ones will cost around $200 – $300.
