Fidessa Group plc (LON:FDSA), a provider of trading, investment and information solutions to the financial sector, today announced the appointment of Ken Archer, a non-executive director of the company, as Chairman of its Remuneration Committee.
The appointment is effective January 8, 2016, with Mr Archer also becoming a member of the Nominations Committee on the same date.
In his new role, Mr Archer is replacing Ron Mackintosh, who will continue to serve as the senior independent non-executive director of Fidessa and as a member of the Remuneration, Nominations and Audit Committees.
Ken Archer first joined Fidessa’s Board as a non-executive director in November 2014. He is Chairman of Gresham Computing plc, where he has been a non-executive director since 2010.
Prior to that he was Chief Executive Officer of SmartStream Technologies until 2009. His previous positions include those of President, European Business Development of Computer Sciences Corporation, as well as VP, Information Services at JP Morgan.
Mr Archer remains a member of Fidessa’s Audit Committee.
