Attracting affiliates and introducers of business in China has become a highly lucrative and equally competitive business for many FX brokerages recently.
The potential business from China which Western FX brokerages can attract is substantial, and with many firms in the retail sector having garnered a large percentage of their trading volume from clients in the Asia Pacific region, large scale marketing campaigns have become de rigeur, aimed largely at recruiting affiliates and IBs.
EXNESS has long advocated the potential of China, and on April 12 will be hosting meetings with existing Chinese partners at the Chinese Formula 1 Grand Prix in Shanghai in order to expand collaborative opportunities.
Sporting events have become a popular offline method of advertising, with many FX firms sponsoring Formula 1 racing teams and high profile soccer teams, largely due to their popularity with a Chinese audience.
