Coinbase rebrands its Bitcoin trading platform from Coinbase Exchange to GDAX

U.S. headquartered Bitcoin exchange and provider Coinbase announced today that as the company begins to offer additional digital currencies, they will operate Coinbase Exchange under a new brand: GDAX (Global Digital Asset Exchange).

Further to this development today, the exchange announced that they have added Ether trading via the ETH/BTC and ETH/USD crosses.

Founded in 2012, Coinbase is a Bitcoin exchange company headquartered in San Francisco, California who along with the rebranded GDAX digital currency trading platform operates wallet, exchange, payment and transfer services for Bitcoin and other digital currencies.
