Derivatives marketplace operator CME Group Inc (NASDAQ:CME) has announced that it has declared a first-quarter dividend of $0.66 per share, a 10 percent increase from the prior rate of $0.60 per share.
The dividend is payable March 27, 2017, to shareholders of record as of March 10, 2017.
The increase comes several days after CME Group reported strong financial results for 2016.
Through its exchanges, CME Group offers a wide range of global benchmark products across all major asset classes, including futures and options based on interest rates, equity indexes, foreign exchange, energy, agricultural products and metals. CME Group provides electronic trading globally on its CME Globex platform. The company also offers clearing and settlement services across asset classes for exchange-traded and over-the-counter derivatives through its clearinghouses CME Clearing and CME Clearing Europe.
