CME delists 3 FX futures contracts showing no open interest

Earlier today we learned that Chicago Mercantile Exchange Inc. (CME) delisted three FX futures contracts: US Dollar/Chinese Renminbi (USD/RMB or CNY) Futures with US Dollar Banking, the E-Micro US Dollar/Canadian Dollar (USD/CAD) Futures, and the E-Micro US Dollar/Chinese Renminbi (USD/RMB or CNY) Futures with US Dollar Banking.

The three contracts, which had no open interest, were listed for trading on the CME Globex electronic platform and for submission for clearing through CME ClearPort.

Also, earlier today, CME delisted just the September 2016 contract month for two FX futures contracts: E-Micro US Dollar/Japanese Yen (USD/JPY) Futures and E-Micro US Dollar/Swiss Franc (USD/CHF) Futures, effective immediately, again there was no open interest in the delisted contract months:

The last listed contract month for the two contracts mentioned above will be June 2016. The two contracts will be permanently delisted on June 13, 2016. The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) will be notified of the permanent delisting of these two contracts during the week of June 20, 2016.
