Options Technology names Laura McCann as Chief Financial Officer

Options Technology has confirmed the appointment of Laura McCann as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) as it continues its efforts to build “world-class” finance teams in each regional office. McCann will replace Jon Lambert, who will remain at the company in a new senior vice president (SVP) role.

Options CEO Danny Moore said Lambert had laid the foundations for the company’s recent success but that it was now time for McCann to step up and enact the next part of its long-term strategy. That will involve connecting the more prominent teams in Option’s offices in London, New York and Chicago with its base in Northern Ireland.

He added:

Consolidating that footprint into one high-functioning team, all sitting together in Belfast, provides the platform to scale as the business continues to grow over the next five years.

The news comes just three months after Options Technology said it would create hundreds of new jobs in the Northern Irish capital by 2026. The expansion and McCann’s appointment are another sign of Option’s success in the cloud management sector. It already boasts a client list featuring many of the biggest financial firms that rely on Option’s cloud-supported services.

McCann will now be tasked with strengthening those relationships. She has worked alongside Lambert for the last seven years, a period which has seen Options close three acquisitions. Her promotion to CFO is one of many changes in key senior leadership positions this year. Terry Hughes, Micah Kroeze and Marlena Efstratopoulou have recently started serving as chief marketing officer, chief product officer and chief risk officer, respectively.
