Thomson Reuters Elite launches new 3E Data Insights

3E Data Insights and new version of 3E Workspace expand cloud-enabled business management operations for Elite customers

Law firm business leaders can now spot trends as they happen, view forecasting and advanced analytics for fee earners and managers, and create interactive reports and dashboards using any internet-enabled device, with 3E Data Insights from Thomson Reuters (NYSE:TRI) Elite. 3E Data Insights is available in 3E Workspace or via a mobile device.

3E Data Insights provides a powerful way for firms to transform, analyze and visualize data. It combines a feature-rich self-service data warehouse console along with Microsoft® Power BI® -– a cloud-based business analytic service – and 3E Workspace to provide metrics that are actionable and that can drive behavior. With 3E Data Insights, users can combine any data source with 3E data to create interactive reports or dashboards – and do so easily and without writing any code. Moreover, 3E Data Insights ensures a consistent, highly secure, interactive data-visualization experience on any device.

According to Elite Managing Director Eric Ruud, the legal industry is undergoing a cultural shift in its acceptance of the cloud, and has a growing affinity for the unique benefits offered by cloud technology.

As the global leader in enterprise business management solutions for the legal industry, it’s our responsibility to lead in developing and championing innovative technologies to help our customers, and it’s been gratifying to see the interest customers have in these new tools. Two years ago, we announced our intent to offer cloud-based versions of our products and I’m proud that we are able to offer flexible, powerful and feature-rich tools like 3E Data Insights that simply would not be possible without cloud technology.

Elite is also rolling out a new version of 3E Workspace, a platform that enables clients to access a range of Elite solutions and third-party products from both desktops and mobile devices. The new version of 3E Workspace (V2017.1) enhances time entry and enables the management of timekeepers across multiple devices. Users also can view time and analytics across multiple views, including day, week, and month.

Earlier this year, Elite announced its first law firm to adopt 3E Cloud and also introduced 3E Workspace Assistant, which allows lawyers to access and perform time management functions with simple voice-only commands via 3E Workspace using Amazon® Echo® or other Alexa®-enabled devices. This week, the business introduced 3E Business Development in the cloud, which combines ERM technology, marketing automation, and experience management via a sophisticated, cloud-based environment to drive more successful marketing and business development initiatives.

3E Data Insights and the new version of 3E Workspace continue our commitment to deliver unique, tech-forward products to help lawyers and timekeepers do their jobs more efficiently and effectively,” Ruud added.
