Nuvei and Zuora Partner to Expand Global Subscription Payments

Nuvei announced on Tuesday a strategic integration with monetisation platform Zuora, aimed at powering recurring revenue models for global enterprises and supporting expansion in high-growth markets.

The company explained that the partnership combines Zuora’s monetisation platform with Nuvei’s global acquiring network, local payment support and real-time transaction optimisation.

The integration is designed to streamline recurring payments, boost authorisation rates and simplify international expansion without the need for multiple local integrations or separate PSP arrangements.

The announcement comes amid rapid growth in the Subscription Economy.

Nuvei said global transaction value is projected to rise to $996 billion by 2028, up from $593 billion in 2024.

Zuora’s Subscription Economy Index has also shown that companies using the model have grown revenues 11% faster than the S&P 500 over the past two years.

“Enterprise merchants are doubling down on recurring revenue models, and payments are a critical part of delivering seamless, localised experiences at scale,” said Phil Fayer, Chair and CEO of Nuvei.

“This integration with Zuora reflects our ability to support complex, high-volume businesses with agile, modular payment solutions, particularly in growth markets like Latin America, where consumer demand for subscription services is accelerating.”

Daniel Enekes, Vice President of Strategic Partnerships and M&A at Zuora, said that as more enterprises adopt recurring revenue models, especially in high-growth markets, “our integration with Nuvei empowers them to scale subscription, usage-based, and hybrid offerings with the agility, compliance, and local payment sophistication needed to succeed worldwide.”
