CBOE releases February volumes, Hotspot’s total notional value traded 21% down YoY

After completing its acquisition of Bats Global Markets, Inc. (Bats: BATS), the Chicago Board Options Exchange CBOE Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: CBOE) reported February monthly trading volume and average revenue per contract (RPC) data on its website.

The data sheet “Bats Monthly Volume” contains a complete overview of February trading volume for Bats’ U.S. equities (BZX, BYX, EDGA, EDGX), U.S. options (BZX, EDGX), global FX (Bats Hotspot), European equities and European trade reporting (BXTR).

Hotspot’s total notional value traded in February made a 21% drop YoY to $539.6 billion.

Overall market share in Bats Exchanges was up 19.1% YoY.
