Bats welcomes new Cambria fund to the Bats ETF Marketplace

30 Issuers, 161 Funds Now Listed on Bats in the U.S.

Bats, a CBOE Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: CBOE) company, welcomed a new Cambria fund to the Bats ETF Marketplace.

The Cambria Tail Risk ETF (Bats: TAIL), the sixth ETF listed by Cambria with Bats, seeks to achieve its investment objective by investing in a portfolio of CBOE-listed “out of money” SPX puts combined with US Treasuries. This strategy seeks to mitigate the risk of a significant negative movement in the value of domestic equities (commonly referred to as tail risk).

Year-to-date, Bats has welcomed 26 ETFs to its U.S. market. In the first quarter of 2017, Bats welcomed a total of 23 ETFs from eight issuers to the Bats ETF Marketplace, and won 33% of all new U.S. ETF listings.

There are now 161 ETFs listed on Bats ETF Marketplace, from 30 different issuers.
