Warsaw Stock Exchange (GPW) has today approved the GPW Partner Firm – GPW Crowdfunding Partner Programme for crowdfunding and crowdinvesting . The Programme is addressed to local and international brokers who offer crowdfunding and crowdinvesting services.

Izabela Olszewska, Member of the GPW Management Board, commented:

The Exchange assists businesses in raising capital for growth. Our strategy #GPW2020 includes new business projects supporting continued growth of companies, in particular small and medium-sized enterprises.

We have decided to launch the GPW Partner Firm – GPW Crowdfunding Partner Programme because we want to work with brokers who arrange financing for businesses through crowdfunding.

The first participant of the GPW Partner Firm Programme is Dom Maklerski INC. Dom Maklerski INC is the owner of Crowdconnect.pl, a platform of public offerings based on crowdinvesting.

To join the Programme, firms need to file an application with GPW. Eligible companies will be named GPW partners supporting start-ups with capital available through crowdfunding and crowdinvesting. Programme participants will be authorised to use the title of GPW Crowdfunding Partner.

The Exchange will keep and publish on its website a list of Partner Firms participating in the Programme.
