The $4.6 million “crypto” lunch with Warren Buffet

Warren Buffet is known as not a “crypto fan”, but this doesn’t mean that crypto enthusiasts do not have interest for the Wizard of Omaha.

Now, the CEO of BitTorrent and the founder of TRON, Justin Sun, is said to be paying the staggering amount of $4.6 million for a private lunch with Warren Buffet, the chairman of Berkshire Hathaway.

How this happened is through an auction. Warren Buffet has been known to hold auction for various charitable causes. Now, the winning bid for the lunch has been won by a cryptocurrency mogul. Naturally, the news has been met with mixed reactions, as Warren Buffet has often spoken against Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general.

As reported by Business Today, this is what the Wizard of Omaha has said regarding crypto:

It attracts charlatans. If you do something phoney by going out and selling yo-yos or something, there’s no money in it – but when you get into Wall Street, there’s huge money.

However, Mr. Buffet has also stated that he is open to the technology of blockchain and how it can change the world for the better. He also commented that he is actually excited to have the lunch with BitTorrent’s CEO and hopeful that the money raised for the private lunch will help people in need.
