NFA charges UBS with unauthorized withdrawal of more than 25% interest customer secured amount funds

On October 7 , 2014, approximately $12 million was auto-swept overnight by UBS' depository from a customer secured amount funds account to a nonsecured amount funds account, amounting to a withdrawal of more than 25% of residual interest, resulting in a $17,500 fine

CFTC approves final rule on residual interest deadline for FCMs

The final rule amends Commission Regulation 1.22 by removing December 31, 2018 as the automatic termination date of the phased-in compliance period. As a result, the Residual Interest Deadline will remain 6:00 p.m. Eastern Time pending the possibility of future Commission rulemaking
