Velocimetrics adds web-based analytics to its VMX EndToEnd application

Real-time business flow tracking and performance analysis solutions provider Velocimetrics has announced that firms adopting VMX EndToEnd will be able to provide an unlimited number of users with direct access to its powerful, actionable insights without incurring additional cost or implementation effort.

Introducing a new secure browser-based user interface, clients will be able to retrieve VMX EndToEnd’s rich analytics from anywhere via a laptop, desktop or mobile device. In doing so, presenting a highly scalable means by which buy and sell-side firms, trading venues and technology providers can offer end-users access without the need to physically install the application on each device. Furthermore, because the data available via the web-based interface will be pre-configured, users with minimal training will be able to very easily attain the exact information they require.

Velocimetrics launched VMX EndToEnd in April 2016, offering the entire spectrum of advanced functionality required to track and analyse in real-time exactly what is happening across complete pricing, trading and payment processes with a single, integrated solution.  This enables users to immediately detect, investigate and effectively control emerging capacity, latency, operational risk, client experience and regulatory concerns through the use of predictive analytics and powerful, actionable insights.

Augmenting the VMX EndToEnd application, which will continue to be used by system administrators and Velocimetrics’ dedicated professional services team to initially configure captured data, today’s announcement extends the solution’s access possibilities.  It will enable all team members involved in an incident’s management to immediately access the relevant, technical, business and client-facing insight they individually require to effectively manage and control an issue’s impact.

Enhancing the user’s experience through the simple to use web-interface, individuals across the business will be able to:

  • Set fully customisable alerts
  • Analyse exactly what’s happening, as it’s happening via a rich array of charts dynamically representing the live situation
  • And produce detailed reports on-demand, or on a scheduled basis

Commenting on this announcement Velocimetrics’ Head of Engineering, Steve Rodgers stated:

Eliminating dependency on the VMX EndToEnd rich client desktop application will enable firms to significantly extend the value they derive from their investment in this solution – delivering insight to a considerably wider base of users.
