OANDA is getting closer to the full-force release of the v20 API, and, in preparation of the launch, the broker has released a preview of the documents which can be found at: https://developer.oanda.com/rest-live-v20/introduction/.
The v20 API has the following new functionalities:
- Access to v20 accounts;
- Richer responses;
- Client extensions;
- Time in force additions (GTC);
- Account hedging.
By the end of May, the v20 API is set to be fully available.
The v20 trading engine is the latest evolution of OANDA’s trading engine and has been designed to provide superior order execution. The company is upgrading all of its existing trading platforms to execute against the v20 engine, and currently the following platforms are supported – fxTrade (Java desktop, iOS and Android apps), MT4 Windows terminal and mobile apps.
