Citizens Bank, part of Citizens Financial Group (NYSE:CFG), has announced the appointment of Lamont Young as a head of Digital.
Young will also continue to manage his existing responsibilities for Multi-Channel Marketing. With more than 20 years of digital and marketing experience in the consumer goods and financial services industries, Young will oversee Citizens strategic investments in digital, online and mobile banking, digital marketing, user experience and social media. Young was also named to the Executive Committee for Citizens Consumer Bank.
Beth Johnson, chief marketing officer and head of Consumer strategy for Citizens, commented on the news:

Young is a member of several organizations including Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, the American Marketing Association, the Consumer Bankers Association Digital Committee and the National Association of Black MBA’s.
