Ladbrokes’ Chairman John Kelly acquires 30,000 shares in company

Gaming and betting provider Ladbrokes PLC (LON:LAD) today provided a report of a transaction in its shares that took place on December 9, 2015.

John Kelly, the newly appointed Chairman of Ladbrokes, acquired 30,000 shares in the company. The price paid per share was 116.02p.

Non-executive director Mark Pain also bought shares in Ladbrokes yesterday. He acquired 50,000 shares at a price of 116.27p.

Both transactions are announced as Ladbrokes gets near the completion of its merger with the Coral Group. Both Mr Kelly and Mr Pain are set to retain their roles in the new entity, to be called Ladbrokes Coral Plc.

One share in Ladbrokes traded at 116.21p at market close on Wednesday, December 9, 2015, down 0.25% on the day.
