Italy’s financial markets watchdog Consob has lately been amid the most active regulators in terms of publishing warnings against investment companies that are not authorized to target Italian residents but nevertheless do so.
The latest additions to the list of such unauthorized companies are: Groupe Markets Ltd; Fxcb Limited; Capital Markets limited; Fxcb Capital Markets Limited; My Leads 24 Ltd; My Educational Leads Ltd; Grizzly Limited. These companies are operating websites that offer Forex and/or binary options services to Italian investors without having the necessary regulatory permissions.
Consob warns that:
- the companies Groupe Markets Ltd, Fxcb Limited, Capital Markets Limited and Fxcb Capital Markets Limited are not authorised to provide investment services and business in Italy in any way, including through the website www.fxcapitalbank.com;
- the companies My Leads 24 Ltd and My Educational Leads Ltd are not authorised to provide investment services and business in Italy in any way, including through the website www.brokeroption.com;
- the company Grizzly Limited is not authorised to provide investment or other services in Italy in any way, including through the website www.tradingbanks.com.
The latest series of warnings comes just a week after the Italian regulator issued warnings against Baxton Services Ltd Global Trading Solutions, as well as Oxford Markets.
