GuavaTech, a Global Managed Service Provider focused on customized IT solutions for proprietary trading firms, Investment Banks, Hedge Funds, Broker/Dealers and FCMs headquartered in Chicago has extended its existing data centre presence in Asia to the HKEx facility. The move is a response to what the company says is clients’ increasing demand to expand strategies and global reach into Hong Kong.
“The additional flexibility that this new offering provides to our clientele keeps them on top of the pack and helps to keep their strategies innovative and diverse,” said Michael Pappas, SVP of Business Development at GuavaTech.
Along with Hong Kong access, GuavaTech offers direct connectivity to all major US, Canadian, European and Asian equity, options, foreign exchange and futures markets, as well as various OTC marketplaces. Its global HFT network provides low latency connectivity to more than 100 ECNs, banks, liquidity pools and international exchanges.
“We are pleased to have GuavaTech as a member of our hosting services ecosystem and look forward to the customised IT Solutions that GuavaTech can bring to that ecosystem,” said Jonathan Leung, SVP and head of Hosting Services at HKEx.
