ChartIQ joins list of third party apps available in Thomson Reuters Eikon

ChartIQ, provider of HTML5 financial charting solutions for capital markets, today announces the launch of ChartIQ as a fully integrated app in Thomson Reuters Eikon.

Thomson Reuters Eikon opened up to third party application developers in October 2015, as Thomson Reuters Corp (NYSE:TRI) introduced App Studio in Eikon. Third parties are thus allowed to build their own apps that sit within the Eikon desktop, powered by Thomson Reuters and other data, and to make them available to Eikon users.

chartiqChartIQ offers traders to benefit from the intuitive navigation, high-performance interactions and more than 100 technical indicators and drawing tools. The ChartIQ app is a complete technical analysis toolkit.

Dan Schleifer, CEO of ChartIQ, says,

“Thomson Reuters Eikon allows us to deliver the power of our charting to users around the world, inside their existing workflow. Traders and investment professionals can now leverage the rich set of real-time and historical data available in Eikon, with ChartIQ’s advanced charting and visualization features for better pre-trade analysis and decision support.”

Albert Lojko, global head of desktop, Thomson Reuters, says,

“By fusing together innovations from across the financial industry with the power of Thomson Reuters Eikon, we’re changing the way financial professionals work. The addition of ChartIQ to the growing list of third party apps in Eikon further demonstrates the trend in our industry towards open, collaborative systems as the drivers of future success.”

ChartIQ Advanced Charting is available now in Eikon. Eikon users can sign up for a free 60-day trial.
