Former Sales Director for the Europe, Middle East and Africa region at RTS Realtime Systems Christian Zahm has joined Bloomberg LP in Germany this week.
Prior to his appointment within Bloomberg’s sales operations, Mr. Zahm had spent fourteen years at RTS Realtime Systems, being based in Frankfurt and London.
RTS Realtime Systems provides high performance electronic trading solutions which range from global connectivity, datacenters and trading network solutions, API connectivity, internal matching and risk management, as well as algorithmic trading technology, a subject in which Mr. Zahm specialized.
For the latter seven years of Mr. Zahm’s tenure at RTS Realtime Systems, he held the position of Sales Director, subsequent to a promotion from within the Global Sales division in 2006. As Sales Director EMEA, Mr. Zahm’s remit involved providing electronic trading solutions for click trading and algorithmic trading, as well as providing direct market access solutions to around 70 markets through the RTS Datacenter Network.
Bloomberg’s addition of Mr. Zahm to its Sales division demonstrates the firm’s interest in attracting highly experienced financial technology experts to is fold.
