Online trading services provider Amana Capital announced on Tuesday that it secured a license from the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) and launched the operations of its new subsidiary, Amana Financial Services (Dubai) Limited, in the Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC).
DIFC serves as the financial and business hub that connects the region’s emerging markets with the developed markets of Europe, Asia and USA.
Amana Capital’s other subsidiaries have already received financial licenses from regulators in the UK, Lebanon and Cyprus. The Group also has several representative offices in other countries, with the most recently opened one being in Malaysia.
Mr. Ahmad Khatib, CEO of Amana Capital, says,
“We are glad to receive this license which comes in line with our expansion plans that aim to strengthen our identity in applying high professional standards and best practices. Obtaining this license and launching the new office in the Dubai International Financial Center will improve our abilities to better satisfy the needs of our customers in the Middle East”.
