Airline risk management venture, Skytra, has employed the services of software quality assurance firm Exactpro Systems. The software testing partnership will ensure stakeholders in the quality of the Skytra’s derivatives trading platform before it goes live.
Airbus subsidiary Skytra provides air travel industry with solutions to hedge and manage its revenue volatility risks brought by short-term revenue visibility and support long-term financial planning for airline operators. The venture will allow cash-settled futures trade and options contracts based on Skytra Price Indices developed with the air travel industry.
Skytra is also applying for authorization with the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) to serve as Benchmark Administrator and to operate a Multilateral Trading Facility (MTF). Financial market infrastructure technology provider, Nasdaq, will develop, host and manage the technology for the company’s trading site.
Based on the results of RFQ process, Skytra and Exactpro have signed a Master Services Agreement for IT consultancy and software testing services of Exactpro on Skytra’s trading platform.
