ACER to adopt decision on the HUAT Gas Project between Austria and Hungary

National Grid reaches agreement with gas workers

ACER has just informed the public that, by 9 April 2019, it will have to take a decision on the incremental capacity project proposal for the Mosonmagyaróvár gas interconnection point (HUAT project), which connects the markets of Austria and Hungary.

As the National Regulatory Authorities for Energy in Austria (E-Control) and Hungary (MEKH) did not agree on a coordinated incremental capacity proposal for this interconnection point within the legal deadline, the decision was referred to ACER.

The Agency has published a notice to third parties inviting them to send any observations they may have on the subject of the HUAT incremental capacity project proposal by 18 January 2019.
