Mr. Kobi Gur, CEO of the financial trading solutions provider Leverate for the last two years, just announced that has advised the Board of Directors of his intention to leave his current position in order to pursue other interests.
Kobi Gur joined Leverate in 2015 after co-founder Ron Strauss decided to leave the industry. He came to Leverate from the gaming industry, having spent the five previous years at Playtech PLC (LON:PTEC), moving up from Head of Projects to become COO and VP Prodcut Delivery at the gaming technology company. Prior to Playtech, Gur was Customer Delivery Director at billing systems giant Amdocs Limited (NASDAQ:DOX), with responsibility for all delivery aspects for projects (Billing, CRM, Ordering, OSS) with tier 1 and 2 customers in North America, Europe and South Africa.
The Board has accepted the resignation which will be effective in 90 days. The Board has expressed its appreciation to Kobi Gur for his devoted efforts to steer the company in these challenging times and wished him every success in his new endeavors.
The Board is in the process of evaluating certain candidates and it is the Board’s intention to nominate a new CEO in the very near future. Kobi Gur has assured the Board of his desire to oversee an orderly transition for which they are grateful.
