XTX Markets today named Eric Swanson as Chief Executive Officer of XTX Markets (Americas) effective June, 1st 2017.

Mr. Swanson is a securities industry veteran, most recently serving as the General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Bats Global Markets, Inc. since 2008.
Prior to joining Bats, Mr. Swanson served for more than a decade in various roles at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, including as Assistant Director with responsibility for oversight of exchange and broker trading systems.
