Yesterday, the European Energy Exchange (EEX) has announced that it achieved its highest trading volumes in Power Futures for Italy and Spain since the launch of these products.
In Italian Power Futures, a volume of 6,864,868 MWh was traded and registered for clearing. The previous record for the Italian Power Futures was the volume of 6,183,005 TWh and happened on 26 April 2016.
The total volume in Spanish Power Futures amounted to 1,408,415 MWh. The previous record was 1,400,614 MWh and happened on 3 May 2016.
