Outsourced FX connectivity services provider FXecosystem has announced the addition of Matt Dangerfield as its interim Chief Technology Officer (CTO).
Matt Dangerfield is the one of the founders of Financial Technology Advisers (FTA), an advisory firm that enables business to embrace all types of current technology, blend it with newer technology and take it to the market for strategic business advancement. He is a pioneer of field-programmable gate array (FPGA) ultra-low latency technology, and has over 19 years experience working with tier one investment banks such as Bear Stearns and Credit-Suisse in the UK, US and Japan.
From 2009 until 2014 Dangerfield was CTO at Fixnetix, a start-up in the ultra-low latency market data space. At Fixnetix, Dangerfield utilised his extensive trading systems knowledge to develop the company’s long-term technology strategy. In 2015, Fixnetix was acquired by Computer Sciences Corporation (NYSE:CSC), a global leader in next generation IT services and solutions.
