ADS Securities Hong Kong appoints Francis Lee as Managing Director

Francis Lee, an esteemed academic, finance expert and executive, has been appointed as Managing Director of ADS Securities Hong Kong Limited.

In his new role, Mr Lee will lead the group’s overall strategic development and business operations in the Asia Pacific region. He will be based between the Singapore and Hong Kong offices and will report to ADS Securities’ Chief Executive Philippe Ghanem.

Commenting on the appointment, Mr Ghanem said:

ADS Securities Hong Kong Limited, which has the same parent company as Abu Dhabi based ADS Securities LLC, was launched in December 2013. It is authorised and regulated by the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission and provides the full range of institutional and private client trading services.

Mr Lee has more than 15 years of experience in international finance, focussed on Asian markets. Prior to joining ADS Securities, he served as Managing Director and Regional Head for Greater China at Saxo Bank, and as Managing Director for FXCM Asia. Mr Lee is known as the pioneer for the Forex business in Asia, having set the industry standard for the regional institutional and retail trading business.

Mr Lee is a published academic, author and commentator on foreign exchange markets, and remains a guest lecturer at the Department of Economic at Fu Jen Catholic University, his alma mater.
